Broadcast

Traditionally for reasons of talent availability (and expertise) as well as cost considerations most animation and drama series are dubbed in territory rather than in the UK.

Foreign Voices has a good reputation for bucking this trend, especially with animation. In 2007 we developed a solid base of broadcast work for terrestrial, satellite, broadband and mobile phone platforms. There is an excellent pool of talent available in London or within easy traveling distance to the UK for this kind of work. We are also experienced at dubbing and reversioning foreign language original content into English in partnership with our sister company, The Voiceover Gallery (London).

Animation

In 2007 we dubbed the BAFTA award winning Adrenalini Brothers for Cartoon Network. The 78 episodes of this hugely funny cartoon were dubbed into a large number of languages including French, Italian, Spanish, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Polish, Hungarian and Russian. All recordings were done in our East End studios in partnership with the Voice Over Gallery London for Pesky and Cartoon Network. In total the project accounted for over 1000 studio hours and the casting and producing of over 50 foreign voices - giving us an excellent base of experience to build from. We will happily quote you an all inclusive per programme minute cost.

Voiceover for UK television documentaries

We provide voiceover artists for documentaries (narrators and talking heads), promos, current affairs, links, continuity, channel announcements, mobile phone clips and more besides. Our voices regularly work in their native accents and can be heard on all five terrestrial channels as well as satellite and broadband providers. Regular clients include the BBC, Channel 4, Discovery, IMG, TWI, Lion, Mentorn, Wall to Wall, 20:20, Darlow Smithson, Maverick, Renegade, October, Optomen and many others.

Audiotranslation of footage

Our translation teams specialize in audiovisual translation of rushes. Please download translation of foreign language footage to find out how you can arrange the fast translation of foreign language interviews simply by putting mpegs of your footage on your FTP site. We will agree a cost per project with you for translation from over 60 major languages and work with you to ensure that translations are reaching your edit suite team as they need them. We can also arrange for experienced language advisors to sit in on your edit by the hour or on a day rate.
